COVID-19: We are here to help

Quality Service Remains Our Top Priority
We understand during this unprecedented time that businesses and people are feeling the adverse effects of COVID-19. We want you to know that Republic Indemnity employees are working from home and are available to help you with matters related to your workers’ compensation policy with us.

Quality service remains our top priority, and we know that when you contact our representatives for assistance with claims, billing or underwriting issues, or for help with access to our systems, that you expect us to be there, and we are. All Republic employees who regularly provide services to you are still only a phone call or an email away.

Payroll Adjustments
If your business is temporarily closed or your staff are working reduced hours, it’s very likely that your employee payroll is down. To ensure your premium properly reflects your actual payroll, we encourage you to update your payroll information by contacting your agent.

Payment Flexibility
Many businesses have been negatively affected due to the public health response to COVID-19. Please contact our premium accounting department if you need additional flexibility with your current payment plan.

Policy Cancelations
Until June 1, 2020, Republic will not cancel coverage or charge additional fees for non-payment of premium due to the effects of COVID -19 on your business. Please note that this is an extended grace period and not a waiver of premium.

Compliance with State Regulations
Various state legislatures and insurance regulators are working to address the impacts of COVID-19 on businesses across the country. As new and/or temporary state insurance regulations are enacted in response to the COVID-19 crisis, Republic will respond timely and appropriately to assure compliance is maintained.
